Housing Support Officer (Charity Worker)
As a Charity worker -Housing Support officer, you will work with the Senior Housing Manager to take care of tenants on our accommodations. You would find a home for people who want to rent a house. You would usually be responsible for a particular house. You will regularly inspect the houses and organise repairs if necessary. You will help people with advice on their finances, if necessary, and encourage tenants to take part in tenancy groups that help shape the community in which they live. You would meet lots of people from different cultures and backgrounds. You would: -Assess the needs of people applying for a house. -Allocate the empty properties. -Do regular inspections to make sure all properties are in a good state of repair -Refer tenants to appropriate sources of advice about benefits and welfare. -Set the rents and deal with payments and arrears.
Centre Assistant (Charity Worker)
We require 15 Volunteer Centre Assistants to work in our Community Day Centre in Hull. This role is a crucial volunteer role at the centre. Volunteer Centre Assistants help out to warmly welcome members to the centre, help with queries (in person, by email and over the phone) and direct people to our various activities. This is an active and varied way to volunteer where no two days are the same. All the applicants we have received for this role requires
Administrator: (Charity Worker)
The admin charity worker are asked to support the team weekly. You will be supervised by the Line Manager and will carry out tasks such as Managing client record, booking clients onto events, record keeping and publicising training opportunities. This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference and give back to the local community.
Domestic cleaner (Charity Worker)
To undertake cleaning duties in areas as directed by the Manager. To clean and maintain communal areas within our Supported accommodations, including cleaning surfaces and vacuuming and dusting. To attend training courses as identified and agreed for appropriate development.
